Buggin

Sure the weather in Wisconsin can be harsh, but some people who move away complain that they miss the "change of seasons." I've also heard that we should be grateful because the "hard freezes" we have in this part of the country kill bugs that people in other parts of the world have to live with all year long.

I've never been especially moved by the change of seasons argument, but the "fewer bugs" angle always made me feel a little better. That is until I found this little critter crawling on the mirror in my bathroom--the first week of February!

I think it's a box elder bug. Apparently, it wasn't moved by the change of seasons either.

I think it's probably one of the Rat's pets.

You know, those rats that can climb up your toilet waste pipe you were talking about.

I bet they are doing that right now come to think about it. they are probably climbing into your bathroom through your toilet with their little buggy pets and then burrowing into that pile of nice clean towels in order to get nice and cozy.

they will probably still be there next time you have a bath.
