Today is Super Bowl Sunday, and I'm doing my best to avoid seeing any of the game or game coverage. Actually, I don't even want to see any of the commercials. And truthfully, when I hear what the commercials were about, I'll probably make an effort NOT to buy whatever it is they were advertising.
This is highly unusual. You see, I'd normally attend a Super Bowl party, or at least go out with friends to watch it somewhere with a lot of big TVs. But this year I'm boycotting the whole thing!
Is it a case of me being a "poor sport" because the Green Bay Packers aren't playing in the Super Bowl, or that they missed being there because they lost their last game to the Giants, in overtime mind you, by 3 measly points?
I'd say no, it's not poor sportsmanship! It's more a case of sour grapes.
