They're back . . .

Oh, I really hate to bring this up, but the coffee worms have made a resurgence. This is not good news.

I alternately battled and ignored coffee worms last year -- well, for almost a whole year actually. The fight finally ended when friends of mine forcibly removed my old coffee maker (aka the worm fort) and brought it to the dump.

Since that time I had been living foot-loose and worm free, until last week. Unfortunately, the slightest coffee overflow incident seems to bring the worms to life. Once animated, the worms thrive with no input or care from me. Kind of like sea monkeys -- if sea monkeys crawled around on your kitchen counters instead of being confined to a tank.

The whole thing is gross. But alas, I am cheap. So will I throw the current worm fort out, and purchase a new one? Or will I save money and choose a life of simple coexistence with this unique species?

Only time will tell . . .

WHAT THE F??????
Didn't you buy a brand-new coffee maker last year? Or did you buy a garage-sale-worm-infested USED coffee maker after Worm Fort #1 went to the dump?

I'm scared.

Where are these things coming from?

What the heck; why do these disgusting worms keep resurfacing in your coffee makers???

GET RID OF IT AND BUY A NEW ONE!! Co-existence is not an option.
