I was watching Martha Stewart attach pieces of candy to a styrofoam topiary tree with a hot glue gun the other day. I say this to reassure any of you that may be worried that I'm not living a full and productive life at this point in time.
At any rate, while Martha and her guest continued gluing (it takes a lot of candy to cover one of those trees!), Martha said she'd never tasted a Kit Kat bar. Whaaaa, never tasted a Kit Kat? I've never heard of such a thing in all my life!
Her comment reminded me that I used to work with a guy who claimed he'd choose a Kit Kat bar over sex—which may explain why I saw his wife in the candy bar isle at Sam's Club the other day. It probably also explains the workplace sensitivity seminar we all had to attend...
