It's texture paint that's designed to cover up imperfections on a wall or ceiling. I tried using a special "texture paint roller" with a holder that had a plastic cover, but the stuff is so thick that I couldn't get it to stick that way. Two thumbs down for texture paint!!! :-(
Yes, it has been pretty good so far, but the job is taking a lot more of the stuff than I thought it would. The product is so thick that it doesn't go very far—I suppose that's also due in part to the fact that I've ended up wearing so much of it!

is that plaster or snow? :) Did you know they make little plastic guards that attach to the roller so it won't spray? Just a thought.

so how did it work out in the end,did it get the job done of hiding the imperfections?
