Whew doggie, it’s windy outside! There are tornado watches issued for most of the state until tomorrow morning and high wind warnings that extend all the way into Wednesday evening.
In case you didn’t know:
“A high wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.”
In preparation for this particular “wind event,” I brought patio chairs inside, put pumpkins up on the porch and did my best to secure the remaining the holiday decorations with rope and wire.
In spite of all that, I’m worried that my scarecrow will end up back in Oz...
