So this week previously unreleased footage from Charlie Chaplin’s 1928 film “The Circus” has everyone talking due to what looks like a woman talking on a cell phone in the background. Leading to speculations that the woman is a time traveler.
My first thought was, “Well... who’s she talking to? ” But my second, more relevant thought was, “Damn! Who’s her wireless provider?”
Seriously, there are areas near my house that I can’t get, or maintain a cell signal. But she’s got coverage that penetrates the time/space continuum?
That’s bullshit! And clearly I’m paying too much...
