Tonight I determined that “dry cottage cheese” must be an ingredient of some sort, but is certainly not suitable for normal human consumption, or consumption by a normal human... whichever the case may be.
Of course you’d be hard pressed to glean that rather important bit information from the package because the picture on the lid shows the same “peaches covered in cottage cheese” graphic as the other (normal) cottage cheese versions.
If you are unfamiliar with “dry cottage cheese” I can tell you that in consistency and appearance, it is remarkably similar to Floam, however it doesn’t taste quite as good as Floam.
Since I was bait-and-switched into buying a container of this stuff, I'd appreciate you forwarding any recipes you know of that require the use of semi-moist, styrofoamy cheese stuff.
Recipes using Floam would probably work too.
