Any of a number of naturally occurring compounds of the element fluorine. Fluorides have been found to be effective in preventing tooth decay and are routinely added to drinking water in most jurisdictions.
With that in mind, do you notice anything funny about the guy speaking out against fluoride in this story?
Ahh, yeah. I'm thinking the board might have been better off using a spokesperson with a full set of teeth to defend their position.
