Last night I noticed that one of "my" outside cats was in the backyard. The reason I noticed was that it had activated a security light on the garage. With the yard lit up, I was able to watch as the cat stuck its tail straight up in the air, and shook its butt around for about thirty seconds. I'm not too familiar with "workings" of a cat, but I'm guessing this one was either urinating in my yard, or scent-marking my yard. Charming.
This afternoon I was using the snow blower to clear my patio. I was about midway through this thankless task when a rabbit popped out from underneath a covered table I have on the patio. Its initial appearance scared the crap out of me, and caused me to scream! Although now I'm a little more concerned about the fact that the thing is probably living, and possibly breeding under the table! Gross.
Tonight, in spite of the crap weather and snow-covered roads, I decided to make a trip to the grocery store. As I got into my car, I noticed that one of the blue "rat cookies" I had set out in the garage was missing. I didn't worry too much because at least three of the other rat cookies were present and accounted for. However, when I pulled the car back into the garage the headlights revealed that there were two rat cookies in the middle of the garage floor! Not only that, but they'd both been chewed on. Disgusting.

We still have two kittens that need a home! How about it? They're almost housebroken. Almost. Want them? I'll drop them off IMMEDIATELY! :)
No problem... assuming they like rat cookies.
Oh, that was terrible!!
Seriously though, you should get rid of those cats.
We are...finally! Someone responded to an online ad we placed and they're coming this weekend to hopefully take both of them.
