A (s)no-win situation

Okay, it's 6:10 pm on Thursday and my driveway STILL isn't plowed!

Mind you, this isn't for lack of trying on my part! To date I've made seven phone calls which resulted in two initial conversations, two return phone calls & three "swear-to-God" promises that someone would come plow. Yeah, not so much.

I realize this behavior is sort of par for the course when it comes to contractors, but for the love of pete, I don't understand why they'd say they were going to come do it when they clearly weren't!
