Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! is National Public Radio's popular hour-long news quiz program. I'm a big fan of this show and In a few short weeks there will be a special live taping of the show about 15 minutes from my house! This would be excellent news, except for the fact that I don't have tickets.
Okay, it's usually taped in Chicago which isn't all that much farther to go, but the very thought of having the show so close without having tickets is killing me.
So please, if you or anyone you know has tickets on offer, please, please please let me know!!

seriously?! i never heard this! that show's a riot! we've thought of getting tickets when we're in chicago, but they're not cheap. well, they're just $20. what i meant to say was, we're cheap. try posting on craiglist for beloit tickets. you never know!

Tickets for the Oct. 11 taping are $20 and are available at the Beloit College Box Office in Neese Theatre (608)363-2755 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. weekdays or on line at the International Performing Arts and Lectures Series at www.beloit.edu/~ipals.
I called the box office and the message said they were sold out. I also checked the website and came across the same sad news.
Do you know anyone that works for the college?
I think one of Julee's tenants might. Want me to ask her if she has a hook up??
