Seven things about me

Okay, Dan from All that comes with it tagged me with a Meme. I'm not sure what sort of etiquette is involved in responding to a Meme or if I'm doing it correctly, but in case you're interested here are seven things about me:

1. I have a birthmark on my left leg. It must look like a bruise because people often ask me how I hurt my leg.

2. Growing up, I had an imaginary friend named Shay-go (not sure of the spelling really). I fell once and put my tooth through my lip; when mom asked what happened I explained (through hysterical tears) that Shay-go and I had been playing tag, and that I fell because he tripped me.

3. I know how to juggle and walk on stilts, but not at the same time.

4. I’ve been told that I speak with an accent. A lot of people say it sounds Canadian, although a woman I used to work with claims it’s a “Watertown accent.” You see, I grew up in Watertown and she has relatives living there that (allegedly) sound the same way. Who knows...

5. I have big R2-D2 and C-3PO “guys” on a shelf in my bedroom.

6. I hold my pencil wrong. I guess like a left-handed person, because when people see me write they often comment that I’m a “lefty”—apparently ignoring the fact that I’m actually holding the pencil and writing with my right hand.

7. Whenever possible I drink coffee from a straw. Not because I might stain my teeth if I don’t, but because with a straw there is less of a chance that I’ll spill, splash or drip coffee onto myself. Not to mention the fact that with a straw I can type and drink coffee at the same time!
